Refractory bricks and mortar

Refractory bricks and mortar

Zampell A/S stocks Chamotte bricks (40-42% Al2O3) of standard sizes for use in e.g. masonry stoves and fireplaces. Being alkali resistant, chamotte bricks are also used in for instance biomass ovens, etc. We also stock a variety of mortar.

We use a wide range of high-alumina bricks – of a variety of dimensions in our installation work, and we are in a position to deliver most fireproof brick types – including bricks with SiC for high heat conduction or, for particular chemical resistance, bricks with chrome.

Insulating refractory bricks

High-temperature insulating bricks (HTI bricks) are insulating bricks of low specific gravity. These bricks are applied as back insulation as well as directly as, ‘hot-face’, cladding of minimal mechanical wear. Withstanding between 1260 and 1650°C, HTI bricks are relatively dimensionally stable and resistant to temperature variation.
